About BestPick

BestPick was created by dainerx, an infrastructure engineer and lifelong gamer who got tired of staring at champion select wondering, “Okay… what the hell do I pick?”

Later, mawskay, a ML engineer, joined to build the in-house screen reader that recognises the champions in your screenshot.

There are plenty of tools that can show you thousands of statistics, matchup tables, tier lists, and player histories. But when you have a few seconds left to lock in a champion, you don’t need another dashboard.

You need a pick.

BestPick was built around that simple idea: give you a fast, practical recommendation based on the champions already in the game.

No account needed. No profile. No endless statistics to interpret. (An optional account only saves the champions you play.)

Drop a screenshot, or just snap a photo of your screen with your phone, tell BestPick your role or don’t, and get a recommendation before the timer runs out.

It started as a small tool built to solve a problem I kept having in my own games. If it helps you avoid one more terrible last-second pick, then it’s doing exactly what I built it to do.
